They're way too gossipy on MEO now.

I liked the early days when they would actually just focus on the music and the artist. I think the AZ episode showed how childish they are on there now. Trying to get people to say certain things for clicks and all that. BagFuel is more of the old formula of talking about the business side of music and actually getting to know the artist. No gossip and all that. Just real talk.

Hynaken was just asking Large Professor a lot of questions about the culture and what he enjoys most about it. They asked him about back in the days and how he sees Hip Hop evolving, etc. Just real sh*t. No nonsense for clicks.

To me the biggest change is the fun factor has disappeared. Now the interviews come across as actual interviews and less like dudes just kicking it like it used to. I think that's where Esso is missed the most.

I agree with this. It's missing the barbershop feel it used to have, even if I do not love Esso's style of interviewing. He was that obnoxious loud nikka that's in every shop lol.

1. The show isn't as good as it used to be period
2. he does the vladtv shyt of having 10 clips of the interview drop over a few weeks and eventually coming out with the full episode but we've already watched it, so less people watch the full episodes
3. bullshyt guests like adam22 and trap lore, and C-listers like Shannon Briggs (and I find him interesting), Joyner Lucas, and Dee 1
4. Math somehow getting more arrogant and ignorant at the same time [he's a free thinker you know...]
5. Mecca saying the same shyt every episode [just in case you didn't know...attention is the new currency ]
