These are moments of levity, not all out comedy.
The Logan film made me chuckle when he steals cigars in the gas station.
Winter Soldier made me chuckle when black widow questions if he had kissed anyone since 1945.

but I'm talking about Guardians doing a break dance battle.
Ragnarok has Thor doing a three stooges routine when he meets Dr Strange, breaking stuff on accident repeatedly.
I guess it's just physical humor that bothers me. Levity is fine. Leave the fart jokes to Deadpool #driveby. Leave the quipy one liners to Ironman and Spiderman. The rest should be more situational like when Wolverine walks through the metal detector in X-men.

I was just disputing the statement that X-Men/Wolverine didn't have humor in them. They obviously did. Most Marvel comics do. It's rare something is dead serious in that universe.

brother convinced me to watched this and loved it. surprised at how much i enjoyed it.

The more I think about it the more Ragnarok pisses me off. What could've been and should've been an epic turned into a comedy. The whole Ragnarok was half assed and mixing Planet Hulk into it was a bit much, imo

Blanchett was solid as Hela, but once again a Marvel villain falls flat. Thought the ending with Hela/Fire guy was underwhelming.
