bruh, think about it, first week or two. most people are still alive, or have bites. they don't know what's actually going on yet. the next year = most people are zombies.

While Rick was sleeping, Shane got everybody out of the city right as shyt hit the fan. You think being in the outskirts is bad. Imagine a city full of 700,000 walkers coming from every street

People can turn into zombies within minutes, hours. In a city full of 500,000 people, thats hell. Id give it 4 days before the city was crawling with them. That's why they aint been back to Atlanta since

yea, i agree they tried to contain an epidemic. it was shown in the shane flashback before he got out of the hospital.

There's zombies at every street, every corner, every boulevard, every building. It would take less than a week for the whole city to be infected. Shane was in the thick of it from that scene in the hospital with Rick they showed. shyt sounded like Resident fukking Evil outside. When Rick woke up a month later, the city was barren, zombies had died from starvation & spread out all over the city limits because food was scarce. He was riding his horse through Atlanta all willy nilly.....
