first, that image you originally showed with zombies ontop of the tank; yeah, rick was in there. that doesn't look like the city was barren to me. second, zombies don't die from starvation :why: third, riding through on a horse all willy nilly? you do remember what happened to that horse right? :pachaha:

you think shane had to go through all this? he was already on the highway out of the city bout time shyt got real. :pachaha:

He had to walk a few miles to find them....didnt he? :pachaha:

They were everywhere during the outset :krs: Common sense tells you the start of an outbreak > 30 days afterwards. This shyt really shouldn't be that hard to grasp breh :why:

Zombies do die of starvation....you dont remember all them dead ass emaciated muthafukkas in the cars before Sophia got yanked.

nah, bruh, i don't know where you got your common sense but it aint common

logic tells me the percentage of zombies increases as time goes on. where was 30% of the population may be infected in the first month, damn near 80% could be infected within a year. the amount of zombies aint going to decrease with time, bruh.

nikka said Zombies died from Starvation :laff:

At most you could argue that a zombie could decay to the point where they're no longer a threat.

zombies don't die from starvation :what: they have no need for food

when the writers got called out on the zombie bodies in cars on the freeway, they said those in cars were already dead from car accidents and such.

lol....maybe starving the wrong term but, I specifically remember zombies in Doomsday & other zombie flicks wasting away & rotting when there were no more humans to eat.

starving is definitely the wrong terms.

The Zombies were decaying...

Zombies are in fact DEAD. When a person or animal dies the flesh begins to decay. If the body is exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain, wind) it begins to decay even faster..

THAT's why some zombies looked "wasted away" later in the series.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I started reading the comics when they first came out back in 03.

And I'm not saying you're complaining about anything but don't act like T-Dog hasn't been consistently named as a negative aspect of the show. The show has it's flaws, if you like it cool, but people who've read the comic are generally going to favor that over the show. Even people who started with the show and switch to the comic are likely to see it that way.

Frankly I wouldn't recommend people who started with the show read the comics. It'll just ruin the show for you. Not in the sense that it'll spoil anything, more so in the sense that things are just done much better in the comics.

that's gonna hold true for every single book / comic ever. you can't find a majority of people that find a tv show or movie to be better than a book or comic. they have unlimited "budget" its nothing to bounce place to place and throw in new characters and spend whole chapters in their brain.

now translate that to set, where you gotta pay for and set up every detail. you gotta pay every actor and they better be a good actor too (meaning they won't be cheap). they can't just run around killing off people and introducing new ones every week. jumping place to place to film

but i watched the show first.. went back and read the comics. you might catch some spoilers, but really the comic is TOTALLY different from the book. even the group at this same point in the comic is totally different people having totally different relationships. i don't think it'll ruin it. but i do watch to see how they pull off certain things and see what's different.

My only question is this: Why the hell doesn't anybody wear any armor? :what:

I'd at least have my most vulnerable areas (limbs) covered up.

In the comics they had sense to wear armor...They started rocking the Prison Riot gear.

On the show they refused to wear it because it smelled. :beli:

That's my problem with this show, there's a complete lack of logic in some situations just to make things more dangerous or progress the show.

Like the shyt with Hershel's leg. if everybody is already infected then the shyt with the leg shouldn't have worked at all.

difference being in the books, the suits were untouched (they still havent found the armory)

and the leg shyt happened in the comics, except it was dale. everyone is infected but the zombie bite is what kills you. the logic being a zombies mouth would be lethal just off all the bacteria a dead persons mouth/teeth would carry. so if you remove the limb quick enough, it's possible to spread the infection from the bite.

I've thought about the heat thing, but personally I'd rather be hot and protected than comfortable and bitten. :yeshrug:

That everyone is infected shyt wasn't in the comics. You had people making guesses about what was turning people into zombies but it was never stated as a fact simply because of situations like the shyt with Dale's leg.

Also if it was just about infections then lots of people would have turned already from various cuts. In that world nothing is clean. You got dead corpses lying everywhere, people burning corpses, little to no soap, disinfectant.

Kirkman even said himself that he kept shyt vague in the comics because you run into trouble once you start trying to explain things too much.
