Dude from "Public Enemies" that played Joe Provenzano aka "Joey Pro"...did his thing. I fux wit dude...:ehh:

De Niro...:flabbynsick: but solid and classy performance, nonetheless. Father-time is undefeated unfortunately...:manny:

The star of the movie IMO...Joe "muthafukkin" Pesci...aka Russell Buffalino...:blessed:

Pesci killed the mob boss goon role as usual. Subtle, ruthless, swag on tilt, wit the mob shades all movie. Overall, the most believable, period...:wow:

I enjoyed this, but some are ranking this over Goodfellas?

Reminds me when popeyes dropped a chicken sandwich a few weeks ago and folks forgot how good and consistent that chic fil a sandwich had been for decades.....lol

People overreact like fukk when movies like this drop. Movie was just okay. It was very slow, tedious and boring. The acting was absolutely superb, though. Thought it was a wasted performance by Pacino and Pesci. I'll watch it again, just for Pacino's performance, but better than goodfellas, casino, shutter island, gangs of New York? Absolutely not.

I understand being lost or put off if you don’t know anything about Hoffa.

But if you’re from a union household/from the Midwest (Detroit especially) or any other heavy unionized area you understand the power that man and that union had

this movie assumes that it’s audience is coming in with high level of general knowledge of Hoffa and Kennedy era politics.Which is good assumption to make because more likely than not the people who are checking for this are older/interested in that kind of thing. He wasn’t shooting for the Birdbox demographic

As a person who falls into the category of knowing the history of this I appreciate the lack of handholding the movie did ...if you’re coming in ignorant of this kind of shyt you might get left behind ....but ultimately that’s your fault

Yeah I’m from the Midwest so I def know
Watched Hoffa for the first time the other day too

He shoulda just zoomed in like this. But Bob probably was tired as fukk. He shoulda just edited that part out or got a stunt dbl. Horrible.

I understand why bo studio would give them 100mil for this. Shyt woulda tanked at the box office

It would have broke even at the worst they only had it in 300 theaters and it still made 4 million

I seen it at 8pm on a Sunday night and it was sold out
