What do yall make of the scene when the mom is laying w/ the twins in her arms.

Shes talking to the dad and he asks if her arms are falling asleep.

She says no, then she looks down to see that the boy is already in the dads arms as hes turning to walk away.

And she has the crazy look on her face like WTF just happened????

I'd call it eerie, not sure about scary, some episodes make you look over your shoulder when watching alone in the dark tho. Might be worse if you smoke weed due to paranoia

I agree with the author here. No happy ending. The House makes you go insane it also provides false hope so it can continue to feed and keep itself from being destroyed.

i do think they could have did a better job at conveying the true bittersweetness of the ending and not be so upbeat. How the house insured it's survival is incredibly evil in itself. "oh you want the spirits of your family members to continue on together and not be destroyed? well you can't burn me down then "
