So let me get this straight. This WHOLE season the team planned on killing homelander, instead the episode was wasted on fighting fukking Soldier Boy? They had the actual opportunity to take down HL, this doesn't make any sense to me? Butcher literally could've told SB "ayo, hold up let me move the kid out of the way before you blast HL" but instead he has a full on fight and forgets the main objective?

Soldier boy wants to kill Ryan too. HL is a disappointment. You think he's gonna like his son?

All that and no payoff for the ending? Soldier Boy back in captive. Butcher accomplished literally nothing this season except got closer to his death and ruined all of his relationships. Noir.. thats it? He just started getting interesting.

Not my type of ending but still excited for S4.

I can't get jiggy with Butcher turning on Soldier Boy like that...didnt feel natural. Butcher willingly shortened his life span for this moment...and it plays out like that? Felt anticlimactic

Maeve vs. Homelander battle was fire...her getting a "happy" ending was a copout. She should atleast be in a coma if not killed off completely

Starlight powering up only to land that weak ass hit to SB was funny. I thought she was gonna atleast knock Soldier out the building :mjlol:

Other than that, fantastic season

Butcher is probably gonna take the permeant V to save himself and try to win back Ryan.

I do agree with everyone in saying Maeve should of stayed dead. It would of hit harder.

This is the correct interpretation. I can see how it could be looked at differently but it’s a semi stretch. SB just on some “Smack who is this nikka??” type steez

Yeah it’s not meant to be racial. SB is just that reckless with innocent deaths.
Kind of like A-Train in the very first episode killing Huey's girlfriend. He was like initially :lupe: then like :manny: and kept it moving. These supes are arrogant AF and don't give a damn about "collateral damage."

I always call this type of circular writing, pinky and the brain syndrome. If they ever accomplish their goal the show ends.

Thats how i feel about the boys. If they kill homelander they end the show, so they gotta write some contrived plot point where everyone acts out of character and makes stupid decisions to keep the loop going. Next season, “we have to kill homelander” rinse and repeat

A-Train is a bytch ass nikka! :scust: Even with your brother confined to a wheelchair for life, dude still looking out for himself. :francis:

It only made sense for MM to be the one who wants Soldier Boy dead no matter what but Homelander is the bigger threat and EVERYONE should have been trying to take him out for good. At least with Soldier Boy, he could somewhat be reasoned with but Homelander, naw that dude got to go.

The homie Black Noir. :mjcry: I got a feeling we haven't seen the last of him though.

This show is not only the best superhero show on TV but one of the best shows airing right now. The social commentary is so on point especially this season.

The black folks I saw at that Homelander rally at the end. :mjpls:
