The finale didnt hit IMO at least not the final confrontation. Soldier Boy really didnt have a reason to hate and want to kill Homelander. You cant tell me the deal he had with Butcher was iron clad and Soldier Boy has such upstanding morals that he felt he was bound to it. He could have easily been like "naa im good, how about i join the 7 and then go about my merry day fukking old bytches"

Soldier Boy is a sociopath. He probably just ain’t like the idea of someone being the new big dawg. He’s just like homelander he likes being at the top of the food chain.

Great season and enjoyed the finale but definitely agree with others that Maeve should have died. Don't know the comics but damn she is strong, took HL laser straight to the face and survived a nuke hug lmao.

- I didn't expect to get emotional over Noir's death but the cartoons made it sad
- Maeve was the MVP of the finale, dying a hero's death would have been more appropriate though.
- I kind of predicted Ryan's turn last time around. Homelander might be fukked up but he still wants to have a relationship with that kid and that is better than nothing. Add that with Butcher pretty much telling Ryan he's at fault, it was predictable. Ryan has never seen outside world like this, he will be very easy to influence by HL

What are the chances he can turn the kid, since the kid already has some animosity towards Butcher

I would have let Maeve and SB die because now we are at point zero with more enemies. Is the next season the final season??

I agree that Maeve should have died but there’s a reason Homelander wanted her to give him a child. She’s the strongest female supe after storefront died.
