Considering everything they had to cover in one episode I think the finale was pretty good besides two things imo. Noir’s death was weak. They could’ve at least let him go out fighting after they built up the confrontation between him and SB over the past couple episodes and Maeve should be dead or crippled. Besides that it was cool. Hopefully they find better ways to use A Train and Deep next season or get them off the show early because they’re just taking up space at this point. The fish jokes are old and they shytted on A Train killing Bluehawk which is the only respectable thing he’s ever done.

I hope Noir isn’t dead for good. All we saw was the mask. He could still regenerate. I think that’s what he does. His face healed from SB, and from the Naqib’s blast, and his arm healed from when he opened it up

So maybe we see Noir again next season

The only thing that confuses me about Black Nior is I thought he was kinda like a Wolverine with the recovery

Like didn’t he take a blast equivalent to a nuke Season 1 and just walk away?

Also, man I really have no idea where they are going with the future of this show. Feels like they going way far from the comic.
I am perfectly okay with this. :hubie:

If you want to know what happens to Ryan next, watch Brightburn.

I loved the sinister look on Ryan's face to close out the season, about to have another Homelander on our hands :francis:. But still he won't be as gully as the kid from Brightburn.

I thought Maeve was a goner too, but I'm okay with how things turned out considering all she went through. Let her scissor in peace with her girl :ehh:

Butcher on a time clock now in his fight to take out Homelander :sadcam:

Co-sign on A-Train's brother thinking Bluehawk would have gotten prison time :skip:.

Good season for MM. Liked that scene with his daughter, his ex-wife better be working on those divorce papers for Todd

For a extremely dark show that has no problem showing mass murder and brutal killings of innocent people Its ironic that they are terrified of killing main characters. Maeve should have died and having Soldier boy just sent back into cryo-sleep after having a whole season dedicated to him is wack. I don't see the reason in giving them plot armor especially when it has no service to the story.

The way they handled Black noir makes no sense, why give him an intriguing plot with Soldier Boy just to cut him loose with an unearned death. The showdown would have been better if Noir actually got to deal a death blow to soldier boy and Homelander kills him after the fact when He learns that Noir knew that SB was his father the whole time. The relationship between Noir and Homelander as a surrogate Father/Friend and a parallel between his biological father in SB was a HUGE missed opportunity.

There's a ton of other examples of story threads being rushed/ruined like this but I cant personally see this show going past B Level by the finale. IMO if they really wanted to make something great they should be getting ready to wrap it up with a series finale in season 4. I felt like nothing really changed this season besides Noir's death.

So let me get this straight. This WHOLE season the team planned on killing homelander, instead the episode was wasted on fighting fukking Soldier Boy? They had the actual opportunity to take down HL, this doesn't make any sense to me? Butcher literally could've told SB "ayo, hold up let me move the kid out of the way before you blast HL" but instead he has a full on fight and forgets the main objective?

They definitely messed up how attached Homelander was to Noir. They only had him cry when he knew he was going to kill Noir and had him mention to Deep and Ashley how Noir was worth more to him than all the Seven. That’s it. And it wasn’t enough. If they were going to have Noir killed off like that after wasting his story this season, then they at least should’ve done a better job showcasing how it would affect HL when he had to kill him.
