I had the same look same look when Maeve had her nasty yt woman feet on the couch 
Same. It would of been a win/win.I thought butcher would want Ryan to take that blast to depower him
I can understand SB surviving cuz he still had his super strength…maeve just makes zero sense tho…a-train should’ve died…deep at least serves as comic relief…I know folks tired of his character but he cracks me up and even if homelander keeps him around as just a doja (old slang lol) at least it makes sense

They really just gave her plot armor. They made the fight less lopsided than it would be to have a reason for Homelander to be preoccupied while the others fight.

ya man cuz there was no evidence of her being able to go toe-to-toe with him for that long…if she could fight him off this well then she never should’ve been taken captive so easily to the point they didn’t even bother showing us how he did so…anyway it’s TV…I guess I gotta be prepared to suspend some disbelief

Im rewatching old episodes...and is Starlight strong?? I think she weak ass fukk man. I was giving her the benefit of the doubt but damn.
But she did put the boots to st0rmfr0nt medium style.

A-Train's brother wanted Blue Hawk alive even though supes are never prosecuted which he should know.
Butcher stopped Soldier Boy from shooting HL and Ryan for no reason since they would've easily survived the blast like Maeve.
Speaking of Maeve, how did she survive the fall since you get depowered the moment it hits you like Kimiko and the other heroes.

she was able to knock open that safe door so she has super strength but it just doesn’t measure up to some of the other heroes…also she’s lacking in hand-to-hand skills…I didn’t pay attention to that for each hero until this season when folks started talking about it…case in point soldier boy isn’t as strong as homelander but his hand-to-hand skills are far superior…in annie's case she’s far weaker in both areas compared to them…same with kimiko too who was hardly a threat to SB…they’d both fukk up some humans tho lol

I loved the finale but ya that was handled poorly…I’m wondering if there’ll be something substantial occurring with a-train and his brother cuz if not these scenes are just wasted screen time

I feel like it shows how much the stakes have been raised but I don’t want to say too much bcuz my opinion is probably more so formulated by having some idea of where things are headed than by what we’ve actually witnessed so far
