Yo, I can't buy Ryan siding with Homelander. Sorry.
this doesn’t happen if butcher doesn’t turn his back on him (even tho we know why he did it, ryan didn’t)…also the way butcher did it by “blaming” him for becca’s death stung ryan deeply (even tho again we know butcher didn’t mean it)…so when HL said he didn’t blame him for that, it’s exactly what ryan needed to hear…HL makes him love himself for being different whereby being around humans has made him hate himself…he’s an impressionable child…I definitely felt it was plausible how they handled his character…imagine him having all that power at an early age and being forced to bottle it in for the most part but have his pops come thru and demonstrate nah we can’t be contained

The season was great but the finale was wack.
Black noir was taken out like a bytch.

A-Train's brother wanted Blue Hawk alive even though supes are never prosecuted which he should know.
Butcher stopped Soldier Boy from shooting HL and Ryan for no reason since they would've easily survived the blast like Maeve.
Speaking of Maeve, how did she survive the fall since you get depowered the moment it hits you like Kimiko and the other heroes.
The season ended up being pointless and only the villains won.

no reason for butcher to not let dean depower both them weirdos. garbage writing
couldn’t take the chance…some supes have survived the blast physically head on (kimiko, maeve)…others haven’t as seen in herogasm (the twins he set out to kill plus his ex in the episode before I think)…boils down to their strength levels I imagine…butcher doesn’t know how much damage ryan can take at this point and wasn’t prepared to risk it
