Ehh the show is extremely different from the comics tbh if you don’t follow Garth Ennis and never read preacher and don’t like extreme violence sex gross out stuff . May not be for you . I read it mostly real time . I usually always recommend the source material but in this case it depends on your taste and if you are a comic fan to anyone asking .
The show is doing a great job with translating the crazy adult spirit of the books with things like terror fukk it, doppelgänger and the big dikk supe choking MM but I mean idk If it’s for everyone
