Not that surprised at the Jake news when you really think about.
Dudes like him, Ryan Gosling and Joaquin Phoenix have been rumored for lead roles in comic book films every so often and it never happens.
They probably don’t want to make that large commitment to several films.
Joaquin was in the running for Doctor Strange and now is possibly going to be in that alternate Joker movie.
Jake went from maybe being Batman to now maybe being Mysterio.

I will continue to believe this was real.
There is no need to believe different or give them the benefit of the doubt given their phoney ass track record.

ben is cool he needs to be in bvs "shape" meaning be physically, mentality and emotionally stable, the difference in his appearance in both films is so damn obvious the marriage and alcoholism is fukking him up
