There wouldn't be a more damning indictment of how useless and incompetent Dems have become in leading the country than them needing post it note reminders put on their office monitor screens to "Help your voters". Right next to "Yoga class at 5", and "Pick up X-Mas cookies order on the way home".
I got no personal dog in the race, but anybody who seriously believed Joe Biden, the reigning heavyweight champion of the Bankruptcy Bill that is arguably the greatest reason for the current state of the student loan crisis in the first place, was gonna do anything to have a serious impact on student loans was a sucker of monumental proportions.

Same here. It's kinda sad that I have more desire to see certain issues like childcare and student loans addressed that personally don't affect me than some of the people who actually got put into office running on those very platforms.

The administration is trying to stay out of its own way by not introducing congressionally unpopular executive action/bills until BIF and BBB were passed. I get it but they wouldn't have to do this if they had of hammered filibuster reform along side pandemic relief.
