Biden has no desire to push a populist left wing agenda or at least give off the optics that the lefts are in control.

Which I believe becomes the talking point if he pushes through a bunch of stuff in short order.

I'm guessing for that reason he's going to play the optics and do these things one at a time.

He'll ultimately have to show his hand when summer ends and schools open up because education is going to be everyone's focus.

I'm ok with the way they handling it right now. A successful infrastructure bill will help the Dems more in the midterms and Presidential elections than helping people like me with student loans.

Agree but for now. I want them to extend the pause and then start working on it directly after this infrastructure.

If they get the student debt canceled I guarantee that's going to bring more young voters to the midterms.

Should’ve been doing this in the first place. I know people who never stopped paying and just used it to go at the principal.

The law on it isn’t iffy. It’s the same power he used to pause it. Anyone can do the legal research in the hours. He expects us to believe with all those Ivy League JDs on his administration that they don’t have a credible argument yet and it’s nonsense. It’s just not his priority right now. And politically no one would be wild enough to challenge it but some bitter ass person could get a case up to the scotus and be backed quietly. And Republicans would go eh that’s what the court said.
