not the update we want, but it does appear to be the first time Biden has expressed any form of enthusiasm toward forgiving 50k.

The problem has always been that Biden has had the legal authority to do it but keeps saying he doesn't think he can.


He preferred if he let it go through a vote in congress because the chances of it passing the senate is 0. Remember Republicans and moderates could care less about forgiveness or wealth redistribution for the common people.

We shouldn't have to watch this bill die in congress so he can say "I tried" when he has full legal authority to do this now

or

at least reform for the public service loan forgiveness to erase a certain amount that population

or

at least something to erase a portion of debt for grads or HBCUs .. but nope, nothing.

shyt I close on my home in 60 days and there’s been no progress on the supposed 15k for first time homebuyers bullshyt he campaigned on. I have zero enthusiasm for national politics at this point.

That’s the rumor, I am hearing. They’ll do that then and it’ll basically hold over the electorate all summer. It should build good will toward’s the Dems and help them in some other areas.

It hypothetical but if Biden pulls this and creates some sort of Voter protection law, the Dems should be riding high into the 2022 midterm. They might actually win some seats
