Restarting payments on New Years Day is a month too early, IMO.

But I'm glad that the pause has been extended. Also, interested in learning more about the restructuring of the payment plans based on income.

They should extend into Feb/March to give all these new initiatives time to bake in while they allow folks to prepare for the new normal.

And if you were in default or had any negative marks due to student loans it’s being removed from your credit report
