Maybe $2500 per year that you were awarded the pell grant
Up to seems to mean if you have a pell grant and a balance of 22k you will get 20k forgiven. If the debt is 15k then 15k will be forgiven.
Non pell grant if the debt is 12k then 10k is forgiven. Debt is 8k then 8k is forgiven. Etc.

I just graduated this spring, enough to claim 6 figures 0 certs small enough to qualify. I ended with ~19k in debt from public college, which are very manageable.
I’m happy asf with 10k… If he does this extra shyt for pell grants on god I will inflate tf outta this economy and make every single person in my family get biden boyz tatted on them not even kidding
