10k was a pipe dream not even a year ago.

Like don't get me wrong, yeah it would be awesome if it was more but that's what he ran on and I'm happy hes doing that.

Yeah I would love it if he did more but he's an old institutional fukk so this to him is probably the same as curing cancer.

I remember how hard the govt jerked itself off after giving us 1600 dollars and pretended like we kept that for years on end.

I’m for forgiving all of it with no caps, because I think the general public has fallen victim to a broken ass system but they really need to make huge systemic changes. Like are we just gonna forgive mass amounts of debt every 5-10 years? What’s to stop unversities from raising prices if the government is just gonna bail out the bill latter? It’s gonna turn into health care 2.0 where a piece of gauze gets billed at $50 if it’s not already there or worse. Not sure what the solution is.. make public state universities like taxpayer funded k-12? I know college is supposed to be a place for discovery but they do need to cut some of the bullshyt.. like we don’t need to be funding archery classes and student life advisors

Your post is just dumb considering we know what Biden's platform is regarding public education and we are all very aware of the 2 major roadblocks in the senate that have stymied much of this.

I think they’re thinking that since poorer and middle class students get Pell Grants, they’re targeting relief to those segments and they can say they’re not forgiving debt of rich kids.

Restarting payments on New Years Day is a month too early, IMO.
