This past Sunday I finished season 4 vol.1 for the 4th time since it came out. Amazing tv show.
Can you guys recommend anything on the same level? I only know movies, like Super 8 and Summer of 84, but can't find any show on the same level. I tried to watch Dark(German Tv Show) and couldn't even finish the 2nd episode.

Eleven doing her training and leaving before it's complete to go save her friends to fight Vecna just like Luke leaving Yoda to go save his friends in Empire Strikes Back so he could fight Vader. If u watched volume 1, then u know Eleven turned 001 into Darth Vader.

I only watched that show cuz people was saying it was like the German Stranger Things. I did finish it and there were some similar elements but it wasn't nowhere near the level of Stranger Things. The Final season was a lil disappointing but on the whole, it was a good show. I enjoyed the sci-fi, time travel elements. It was done in a unique way and somewhat similar to the Upside Down, in faint sense.
To me, Stranger Things is supposed to be more like The Goonies + Stand By Me (with a little bit of E.T.).
This season they've turned it into Nightmare on Elm Street with some It (1990) mixed in there.
I'm in the minority on this but I'd prefer if they didn't make that change. But that's just my opinion (and I still like the season 4 overall)

I watch this show with my sister sometimes. It looks pretty alright from what I've seen but one of these days I really need to watch them in order. I like the Russian guy and his translator.
