Best season so far, episode 4 was the best episode, episode 7 was too long but cool twist at the end.

Old heads from the 80s, did yall really listen to the same song over and over in the 80s on an cassette tape? Every time that Kate Bush song came on I was thinking to myself doesn't Max get tired of listening to that song? :dahell:
Some cassettes were A/B side with one song on each.

I'm a 90s baby as well (91) and now remember CD's namely an Michael Jackson CD where it only had two songs (You are not alone and his collab with Janet Jackson). It was my parents CD, I didn't start getting into music until 50 Cent came out in 03 and Cassettes and two song CDs were a thing of the past at that point. The way we listen to music in current day kind of spoiled me, no way I would be able to listen to the same song over and over every day :mindblown:

What's funny as I heard covers of that Kate Bush song used on other shows and Stranger Things is the first show I came across that uses the original. Regardless if its cover or an original, it always makes an scene epic :wow:

Yeah the question threw me for a memory loop.

I only owned a handful of cassettes and my mom had comedy tapes while my siblings made mixtapes off the radio.

But I do remember having a single tape of
“ I GOT A COLD” by King Tee that my brother and I wore out just making the sneezing noises.

I honestly thought the episodes were a little long in the tooth, and the season was a bit uneven compared to season 3. Like Dear Billy is clearly the peak of the season thematically. So why the hell am i watching these awkward ass Russians right after? But it is what it is. Glad this is the beginning of the end. Wouldn't mind a time jump for the last season but I'm sure they'll end it correctly.

I'm not sure long in the tooth means what you think it means friend

Great season so far after the slow school stuff at the beginning

I know EXACTLY what CD you talking about. It was the “Scream/Childhood” single CD. Had a whole bunch of remixes and then “Childhood” as the last track.
