I just finished episode 4. I thought Multiple Miggs was finna pop out and tell Nancy and Robin that he could "smell their c*nts" and throw his maniac baby batter at them. There was a discount Dr. Chilton. We even had a knockoff Barney as the guard to Victor Kreel's Hannibal Lecter to make the cipher complete.
The gold pendulum on the clock that
kept seeing reminded me of the dead lights from IT.
Shout out to Sam Dermody from Ozark playing the young Creel.
Sound design / effects were award worthy. Shades of Michael Mann, which was even more apparent in that shootout.
Jacquen Hagar coming through as a guard aiding another escape.
As an aside, Michael Myers was referenced in an earlier episode. There was that reporter / wannabe editor, named Fred. Well, Freddy's dead. There was also mention of that ball playing goon named Jason. Dustin was like, "nah, we got more important things to worry about than Jason." (We worrying about Freddywise Krueger. Obviously we had the actual Freddy Krueger playing Hannibal Lecter. All the great horror movie killing icons were name dropped in different ways.
We had some IT Chapter one shyt happening, only this time, the fat kid don't kiss the girl to save wake her from her slumber. This time, it was music triggering memories, mixed with the will to live. This Vecna Pennywise mothafukka was like "time to float."
and the Loser's Club was not having it.
