‘Stranger Things’ Will End With Season 5

Stranger Things has been renewed for a fifth and final season, which will mark the last batch of episodes for the Netflix series.

It was renewed for S5. I'm just wondering how they're counting.
“Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for ‘Stranger Things,’” creators Matt and Ross Duffer said in a letter released to fans on Thursday. “At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but – as you’ll see for yourselves – we are are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; Season 5 will be the last.”

THey're counting this as season 4a and 4b, and then there will be a season 5, and then it's a wrap (unless there are some spin offs or something, which wouldn't surprise me).

Ngl, I think this is one of the best TV shows ever made, especially because of the way the characters are built, the environment, the decade and etc. It is easily rewatchable. When I have to finish projects late at night, I just play Stranger Things or Daredevil in the background and don't get tired at all.
