Doesn’t mean they aren’t compatible.. I have Iike 30 compatible and 60 that actually workI cant decide between this or the Switch OLED. My PC game library is all spread out. Its saying under half my games are compatible. Might just get the OLED..
There’s a hack to make online work tooBreh...BREHHHH
Every few months I play around with the idea of getting a switch but can’t find enough games to make it seem worth it especially when I hear people here saying they have switches collecting dust. I’ve been reading up on the steam deck and it seems appealing if only for its “versatility” but I saw a lot of people mentioning the additional steps just to get things running. For someone who doesn’t play on PC or care to do a lot of adjusting settings to get games runnings is this worth the trouble?
Thanks. TBH, i don't have any games on steam so my primary reason would be for portable emulation (primarily NES to PS1/PS2) and potentially PS remote play/GP. I've also seen some promising videos with some PS3 games/Switch games running, but I'm not sure how much work is required to get them up and running.what games are you interested in playing is all it boils down to…you can play 100s of current/recent AAA games that are steam deck compatible without doing anything other than buying the games…go to the site and see if the game is verified/playable or “worst” case scenario just google to see if there are any videos demonstrating if a game works on steam deck or not
other gaming options that will require some tinkering are playing emulators, using game pass or PS remote which seem to be the 3 main things folks use it for outside of just using games in their steam library…these are all relative easy to do but again the question is are those things even of interest to you
right now I’m primarily playing games off my steam library that I’ve been building up…as well as using it to sample/play games on game pass…I’m not interested in PS remote…but I’m hoping there will be a way to use PS+ the same way I can use game pass…also I’m not interested in emulators outside of the switch emulator but I can’t find a decent source for switch ROMs
