I followed this guide for PS2 emulation, and other than a few audio glitches and finding a better site for roms, it works great.Thanks. TBH, i don't have any games on steam so my primary reason would be for portable emulation (primarily NES to PS1/PS2) and potentially PS remote play/GP. I've also seen some promising videos with some PS3 games/Switch games running, but I'm not sure how much work is required to get them up and running.
Also, I would hate to get a Switch for only BOTW (what i'm most interested in) even though I haven't played a Zelda game since LTTP on SNES. Most other games I'm interested in playing i already have on other platforms. I know switch online offers a limited library of NES, SNES, Genesis, and N64 games but the Switch library itself hasn't seemed appealing enough for me to commit to it, and I wouuld like to try and avoid getting both if possible
I haven't tried PS1 yet, but I can't imagine it would give you an issue.
