While this is true, it's a good indication gage of of it'll work fully or not. Some games will still run, but certain features won't. And since they're listed as Unsupported, I don't believe that simply making a community complaint to the devs will get you anywhere. Some of my games that aren't deck verified run well enough and some wouldn't even get past the logo screen or even that far.
Over had one deck verified grand that surely didn't run well at all tho. Hitman 2. It took several attempts to even get the game to boot without crashing for no reason and then even getting it booted up, the controls were severely fukked, as if it needed to be played by kb/mouse, despite the fact that the control settings were defaulted to the game pad and even when I tried to change templates, it still was acting funny. That was too much toggling for me so I Uninstalled that shyt with the quickness. Too much of a storage and battery waster of a game for me to have that much trouble to also deal with.
I actually got this issue with Battlefield 3. It wouldn't launch at all. And that's a console port, so it should come with gamepad support.
Otherwise, I have between 20-30 games installed on my Steam Deck and they all seem to work fine. Including non-verified games like Sleeping Dogs.
Feel tempted to buy one since my laptop is causing issues. Anyways, I have a question how do CRPGs play on the deck?
Games like Disco Elysium, Divinity 2, and Pathfinder 2 are all Steam Deck verified.
