Im bout to buy a switch and get it modded for $250 to hold me over. Why you sell your switch?

My question is. Why get this device if y’all wasn’t gonna use it handheld? Being able to hook it up is just a plus. Getting a gaming laptop cost more money if u wanna play decent resolutions and bought a Steam Deck retail. @Piff i told u not to wild out and spend too much money. And a gaming laptop is NOT as portable y’all gonna see that soon enough. Lol. I still have my OLED Switch. I love it for what it is. I have it as really a dedicated Nintendo and family console now.

I have a steam deck coming at retail price tho
i can wait and I got most of my money back for owning a device for a month.
after i sold mine i saw someone selling theirs new for less than what i sold it used LMAO...win


the deck is huge and loud as hell btw.. yes its technically portable but i never took that out in public like i would my switch

I have my switch, maybe a new laptop and ps 1-5.. I think I can wait a little longer

I bring it with me everywhere honestly. It’s portable. Not pocketable. The switch ain’t even pocketable unless u got a Switch Lite. If I’m looking for that I use one of my Anbernic devices or Vita or something. Any device with the chips this has is gonna have fan noise. No real way around that at this point in portable PC’s. Plus I don’t know what it is but mines isn’t really loud like that at all. It doesn’t really feel huge to me because it’s so easy to hold and the weight is distributed very well. Maybe u would be better off with an Aya Neo Next or something but u would sacrifice performance in GPU bound games and gain performance in CPU bound games.

I don't miss it as much as I thought I would.... been using my 1060 laptop in the meanwhile
