Yea definitely gonna have to figure out the graphics settings to give the most optimal performance/battery life combo. I personally won't be playing high demanding games like RDR on it can just play that on my pc.
Maybe someone will drop a little battery pack attachment.

Need to see how it'll handle texture streaming in open world games.
Looks like they doing a deep dive tomorrow and the SSD is able to be upgraded but might be difficult.
Steam Deck SSD is Upgradeable, But It Won't Be Easy - IGN

It's really not worth it to be honest, but it's pretty scummy how it's not user accessible and the SKU being based on memory. So, you would have to think... Steam would purposely pull an Apple and make it difficult and also make it somewhat enticing to void your warranty at the same time.

U wanna know what’s scummy? Dell raising their price of the m.2 cards by double. Plus I’m pretty sure u can plug an external SSD on this thing.

I saw that shyt. fukking silly, because we don't even know the process to replace it or whether you need special tools.

I really don't understand why they even went with 2033... Instead 2042 or even 2060. As big this thing is... It probably fit the full 2080 if they wanted too and be cheaper altogether. Steam Deck is probably has a super beefy cooler eating up a bunch of real estate.

I upgraded my reservation to the 512 GB model after they pushed up Q2 release.

Bro. I own this thing. And I’m just gonna velcro it to the back of mines if it works. 1TB external ssd, aluminum. Light as fukk, damn near as fast as an NVME and I been running AAA games off it for over a year now. shyt is the size of a flash drive bro. USB C.
