Same boat and im still copping!!! The streaming capabilities are honestly endless.
If you're streaming. Make sure to get a dummy hdmi 2.1 or displayport

Or else it'll either glitch out on certain games or be running your monitor on at the same time.

You get a dummy port... You'll stream seamlessly with the monitor off and if you have an ultra wide monitor... You don't have to constantly switch resolutions around.

If the wifi is baller... I've been able to game smoothly 200 miles away from home.

I definitely want one. But I'm going to wait until I see some reviews before buying one. Looks pretty comfortable as well. Haven't played a switch but the 3ds was mad uncomfortable and Nintendo got the WOAT controllers. The possibilities of this device alone is :wow:.

Huge ass library of games
Emulation
Portable pc
Mod support

Being able to do all this shyt while taking a shyt or in bed is dope.

You can reserve for $5 and cancel it after reviews drop in December. Shipping date is currently Q2.

Only 15% of Steam games are on SteamOS
But you can install Windows, but not sure how much the performance suffer

I might reserve it then see what happens. 15% of 50k is 7500 so still huge also idk if that percentage accounts for the new SteamOS that comes packaged in the deck. They are claiming that it's a huge improvement compared to what is current.

Ehhhh... Till valve puts out a list. I'll believe it when I see it. Just like their claim on performance. Luckily, the reviews in December precede a lot of pre-orders. So, I think they are pretty confident and not faking things up.

Platinum:Runs perfectly out of the box

Gold:Runs perfectly after tweaks

Silver:Runs with minor issues, but generally is playable

Bronze:Runs, but often crashes or has issues preventing from playing comfortably

Borked:Either won't start or is crucially unplayable

Well, damn... I'm starting to not vibe. I hope another 6 months help.

a lot of the borked games are multiplayer games with anti-cheat. often the game would run fine, but the anti-cheat trips cause it detects some funny business going on (Proton). but apparently they're working on that
