Just bluetooth your own controller of your choosing and get a dock or something to stand it up.

It's wild how XCOM 1 is listed as Unsupported but all you had to do was use the track pad as a mouse, set the controls to 360 Controller in-game, then set the Deck controls to Gamepad and you're good to go. Game doesn't dip below 60fps with everything maxed out outside of some cutscenes which are locked at 30
