They actually have a strong case. Arresting Tommy in a hotel in the same room as Lobos with millions of dollars is really all the evidence they need to at least put them away for a couple years. The problem is everything at least concerning Tommie has to be thrown out because it was all obtained illegally. Angela having Isabella, who is minor finish the sketch is the "poisonous tree".

We didn't see the arrest. We don't know what they really have. We know they arrested Tommy & Lobos.

Angela took pics of tommy holding one bag. The pics wouldn't even hold weight in trial(no source to back her up ). There is no way all of Lobos' money could have been in that one bag. The plan was to give Lobos all of his money in the hotel.

1 thing I'm surprised the no one caught onto was Ghost. When he brought the shoes to Angela(snake Skin) he said they look like you.
He probably still got that hammer in the trunk. Probably one on his person and probably coke in the car. Tommy's a dumbass.
They have a picture of him walking in with a bag. There's also likely to be security footage from the hotel. The only thing saving them would be if the bag contains nothing and we know that's not true at all. They were meeting to drop off money, this isn't like the switcharoo they pulled at the laundry spot. that would be terrible writing and an easy copout to have the bag filled with nothing. Especially considering all the foreshadowing they've been doing. Ghost strong arming that lawyer is the biggest clue. Tommy won't be able to hire a lawyer himself because his assets will be seized. Ghost likely would want to keep his involvement on the low so he can't hire the lawyer with his money but now he doesn't have to.

Of course all the money wasn't in that bag because Ghost likely had the other half. There's still enough (millions to put him away on conspiracy). They key is all the evidence Angela has used to point out Tommie as "Ghost" is inadmissible

she showed an allegiance to her job because she was committed to make the arrest. also, it is not the first time she does it, she was quick and ready to walk away from ghost when she taught he was lying about what tommy did to holly, so much so he had to give up the info that holly was moving with a new identity. not to mention that in dialogue it has already been expressed that professionally she won't stop until she gets her man.

Yea that was the point of that scene right before the squad went in. Angela is an emotional wreck right now. She decided to go through with it than instantly start feeling regret and start frantically searching for Ghost's supposed dead body. And now she feeling salty as shyt that Ghost one up'd her.
