He suspects Kanan put out the hits on the crews cause him and Tasha had something to do with him going to jail.
He knows that Stern's marriage is on the rocks right now and he may have an opportunity to get Truth back, based off of what Kantos told him.

All in all, he needs to stop fukking around and seriously start being the boss that he was meant to be. This whole lovey-dovey shyt they got going between him and Angela not only makes him look soft, but it's annoying as well.
