I was confused when Picard "died" especially considering that Patrick Stewart said he cleared his schedule to film season 2 :dwillhuh: But then they pulled a swerve :whew:

I liked this episode, when all the Starfleet ships showed with Commander Riker :banderas:

This episode pretty much confirms that Seven is a lesbian, many trekkies else ware thought it was alluded to a couple episodes back..

RIP to Data though :mjcry:

Season went by too fast, felt like the pilot episode aired last week :wow: Wish Discovery was coming back next week but no date was given in the promo prior to this episode :martin:
technically hes still dead and the current picard is just a backup with A.I consciousness

a copy of picard

Yeah. When they introduced the idea of the "golem", I thought they would use this as an excuse to replace Patrick Stewart with a younger actor.

Anyone find it weird that everyone on this show pronounces "golem" (as in the monster) as "Gollum" (the LOTR character).

Captain Riker

I was a little disappointed that 20 years after being promoted he's still Captain Riker especially because they made him an admiral in the books.

On that train of thought, hopefully Word made Captain between nemesis and Picard

Riker lost his ambition once he started serving under Picard. He was a great officer, literally one of the best in star fleet but he was fine being first officer and didn’t want anything further. He probably only became a captain because he had nothing else to do after Picard became an admiral

That 7 of 9 being holding hands with Raffi has the conservative Trek nerds losing their minds and whining about "SJWs" and "wokeness" :lolbron:

It's like no one believes in bisexuality for some reason. Her bumping pocketbooks with Raffi doesn't mean she wasn't into Chakotay's peen back in the day or that her marriage to a man is now invalidated People are weird.

Anyone else think the ultimate ending was given away all series by the opening credits? I kept wondering all season when a
synth Picard
would show up.

its weird that conservative people are star trek fans when it's future utopian world is essentially a socialist society and The Ferengi as a species was basically a diss to capitalist

It baffles me how they have been freaking out over Discovery and Picard as if Trek hasn't been like this from Day One.

If you are in 2020 whining about Star Trek being too progressive and/or political then you are a dumb motherfukker who didn't understand anything you've watched over however long you've been a Trek fan.

When did Seven have a husband? Was this during Yoyager? The only male romantic relationships I remember she had was with Chakoay and I think we would all like to forget about that :huhldup:That and the Yoyager two parter "Unimatix Zero" but I can't recall if she was married to ol dude.

If it was mentioned in Picard I can't believe I forgot already :snoop:

You know what I think I confused myself and misremembered her marrying Chakotay in that alternate timeline with her being married in the regular timeline.

The year 3030
an alright finale, all things considered

:mjlol: that device is a literal deus ex machina.

:whew: Seven kicking that bytch's ass...Seven a lezzy now? :dwillhuh::shaq:

:banderas:when riker rolls up with the fleet

The "death" was :patrice: maybe cause I didn't really give a shyt about those other characters, minus 7 and Riker...and they only showed 7 mourning out of those 2...didn't really care them other fukks were sad he died. Now if it were the TNG crew mourning...

The data scenes were cool

:heh: Picard a droid now

did like the final shots of his new crew then him saying engage

So will season 2 bout TNG lite?
