Yeah, I found the Michelle -> MJ thing pretty useless. Similar to Robin in the DKR.
At least that was somewhat ok as you could easily picture the character as nightwing. With this they've clearly altered her character so why even utter "mj" in any form. They should have just asked her fullname with her pausing then giving a name with the same initials like Michelle Janis whipppleman for audiences to be like :ohhh:. . You want to give her a new twist go the whole way, to beat us over the head with "mj" was lame

Na, the Robin twist was weak because A) they never made clear if he was going to actually be Robin or take over the Batman thing. B) the trilogy was over, everyone knew there wasn't going to a Nolan follow-up of any sort. It was a weak way to explain why you gave this one cop so much to do in this movie.

It wasn't just him, everyday Joe's were putting in work too while the lead took 2 sabbaticals in the same movie. But the point was batman inspired hope in us all right?what a bunch of malarkey. I don't pay to see jobbers doing heavy lifting in the final act

Take the negg back god

I said what I said it was too pushy with the diversity man watch when Black Panther comes out it will be natural. This was like get out with the de facto everybody at invited at the cookout racism. This was like Fantastic Four with MBJ. A huge example was the bullshyt with MJ it's obvious Zendaya was going to be her they even leaked pictures with her having red hair then when the movie starts she's a woke black girl who is unkempt it was a bad look. The biracial date was the only POC non baddie that fit because it was unexpected her father would be the vulture and her mother being the edible chocolate that is Garcelle Beauvais.

That fat Asian chunky guy was a joke

Peter was an eddiot the whole movie

But props to BOKEEM WOODBINE he shined as Shocker #2 but it's a shame he can't be in Black Panther.
When I was in high school there were people of all races. Even though we lived in predominantly white city. The neighborhoods weren't that diverse but the classrooms where.

:whoa: ASM1 was solid.

ASM2 :francis: (except the Gwen scene :to: )
The first movie was trash to me. Why was the lizard trying to turn everyone in lizards again? The basketball scene reminded me of the basketball scene in catwomen.
Uncle Ben's death felt like is was Uncle Ben's fault. What was he doing trying to do? Make citizens arrest on an armed robber?
And his Spiderman came off as an a$$hole rather than a witty wisecracker like he's portrayed in the comics.
But the worst part of the movie is Gwen
Not her acting or anything just the fact Gwen was too heavily involved in both sides of Peter's life. Usually he has to perform a balancing act of normal Peter Parker's responsibilities as a Regular person and his job as a hero. That struggle and balancing act is the key to the character of spiderman. But in those movies if felt like they wanted to give her more screentime because of the Actresses popularity. The way they do with Mystique and Jennifer Lawrence.

No Father To MY Style.. A Son Unique
Just saw the film :mjlol: conservative and alt-right CACs most have experienced spontaneous human combustion. Cast was so diverse this shyt must've caused a shyt storm of caught feelings. "Slaves build the Washington monument"...the teacher saying protesting is so American/patriotic. I know CACS was heated . I was cool with the casting but Flash was too weak/nerdy looking to me. This kid looked he would get bullied.

Holland was born for this roll. He was excellent, way better than that other guy. In the suit or out of it he was great. I like his growth in becoming a real hero. Abandoning fear and becoming a man. That scene where he is under rumble you can feel his fear and weakness. Dude was yelling for help lol. Had to really channel his inner strength my favorite part of the movie. It's cool how they fit spidey in this new marvel universe, I just wasn't too fond about how hi tek his suit was. Does that happen in the comics? Felt like a spidey ironman hybrid.

Overall it was a fun film with some dope action
I think the reason flash is a geek is cause peter is in one of those special science schools which would make sense. Peter dont goto public high school in todays world i guess (which makes snese, kid making spider webbing and shooters).

I thought he was too geeky but now i get it. Hes the cool kid in geek school. Hed get his lunch taken otherwise lol
