I think this was the best Spidey trailer I've seen
let the hatred flow. How many times are y'all going to do this. Y'all really mad label siblings are featuring each other on their records
I still get goosebumps from the shot in the very first trailer for the OG where the bank robbers end up in the massive web between the Twin Towers.
Between Marvel being involved and making Spider-man one of the characters in their universe , I don't know if I've been this interested in seeing a Spider-man film on the strength of the traiiler since that.
i suppose hardcore spidey fans just feel a certain type of way watching marvel try and alter history.
i might agree that having tony be responsible for peter's suit and/or tech is a little much.
Simply put
Spiderman is BEYOND needing the rub from fukking ironman
He is WAY more famous and historically and name is more recognizable..
The fact that ironman is IN the movie isnt a problem. Its that it looks like he is a costar of the movie...fukk that shyt. Spiderman fans and kids too LIKE SPIDERMAN. HE ISNT fukkING HAWKEYE where you need to prop him up. Was Ironman even in the first two captain america movies? Just feels like this is "another marvel movie" rather than spiderman.
Over under why can't you just be whelmed
I can see you aren't feeling the aster
Yeah it's a bit much but I'll say it's easier to swallow with peter being a kid vs him being a grown man. That's one part of civil war that always rubbed me the wrong way. But Pete felt indebted to him so I got it.
There's a balance to it. Tony giving him tech is fine in moderation but Pete had to have his own ingenuity as well. Him improving on shyt or outright discarding some shyt will make me happy. But also given the construct of their move universe at the moment and how they've never had a hero who wasn't a grown ass man or woman, it makes sense that someone would want to chaperone this 15 year old
also you gotta remember, this is the first movie. 4-5 movies from now when tom holland is long established as spiderman, this may all feel like a distant memory.
and i must say, tom holland looks like he's going to be REALLY GOOD as spiderman. like he actually holds his own when he's on screen with RDJ. he's a natural star. they really picked the right kid this time. maybe even the best casting since RDJ.
This is based on Civil War era Stark/Parkers relationship where Tony did just thati suppose hardcore spidey fans just feel a certain type of way watching marvel try and alter history.
