The 1st fight between Spiderman and Rey was really good, felt like a roller coaster ride lol

Great film

Noticed the Osborn penthouse from the Maguire films at the end when Peter was swinging
Their first fight is a top tier MCU fight for sure. It's up there with the mega fights from Civil War & Endgame.

Mysterio is the ultimate fukk nikka :russ:
Mysterio is such fukkboy villain that when it happend in the movie it was like reading the comics and you turn the page and it's a full spread with him gloating and shyt...

And you got no choice to be like "This dikkbag Mysterio...every fukking time...Pete better punch this fool.." :aicmon:

shyt. Even Mysterio's daughter was on some bullshyt in Ben Riley: Scarlett Spider.

Homeboys just an all-time "watch yourself around this muthafukka" character.
In the flix when he revealed his fukkboy-isms like half the theater was like, "YUP! Thats my Mysterio!"

Dude, this guy is crying too hard. Peter could not spend the movie mourning Tony. A lot of people deal with grief by trying to develop the other emotional connections in his life. Teenage Spidey juggling his superhero responsibilities and desire to be a kid in spite of the heavy hitting stuff around him is CLASSIC Spider-man.

I'll give him two points: Uncle Ben's omission is really starting to be felt (I really thought Mysterio would show Ben's grave), and, yes, the MCU will likely brush off the consequences of Spider-man's identity being revealed (kinda like when Tony was rejected for the Avengers initiative, or when the Bifrost bridge was broken).

Just saw it. Personally I'm meh on it. The humor fell kinda flat imo and Peters journey in this movie wasn't as sympathetic or relatable.

What I did love was Mysterio. I wondered how they were gonna pull him off and i
figured he'd be a pulling a Thunderbolts style con and sure enough that's what it was. Once again marvel shows that they conceptually understand their characters and underneath Mysterios goofy design (which I'm glad that they didnt shy away from) is a grifter master illusionist who directs his crimes with the vision of Spielberg.

Aside from channelling the youthful energy of Spider Man, what the new franchise is doing extremely well is converting Spideys rogues gallery onto film very creatively.

I liked it better than Homecoming.That one was like a 6.5 IMO.....I'd give this a 7.5.

They dropped a lil science in this one. There's some real life Mysterio's running this

world.Masters of tricks & illusions.Just like IM3 dropped science about fake boogeymen.

....But I don't wanna start any shyt around here:hubie:....Off topic, but if they ever

decided to do another Back To The Future flick, Tom Holland would make a pretty good

Marty McFly

Oh and if we're speculating on future films...

I have a sneaking suspicion that Sony has an edict on all the franchises that the Goblins arent to be used as the main villains (imo to try and get some distance from the Raimi, and Webb movies). Notice that even in Into the Spider Verse, Green Goblin was a pure bit player villain and crony to the Kingpin...even tho in the comics its Norman who is the one who caused Ult. Peter Parker to be killed and opens up a void for Miles.

And from the Venom franchise its apparent Sony wants the Symbiotes to be a stand alone concept separate from Spider Man.

I really think that they will continue to keep going in the vault and encouraging directors to use lesser known Spidey Villains and concepts.

And give how Far From Home ends...it wouldn't surprise me if Kraven the Hunter is the next villain
