You said most people claiming to be fans of Andrew Garfield and his movies are "full of shyt".
That implies the loves he's currently receiving is fake. Which is ludicrous considering his movies did $700+ mill.

Maybe I’m wrong, just saying from my own personal opinion it was always Rare to see people talk about Garfields movies compared to the other two, now all of a sudden everybody says they were misunderstood and overly hated, I rarely ever saw that kinda energy before NWH
I wonder what they’re gonna do with the new movies coming out, we didnt get Thor and Dr Strange this year because of Covid. Now this new variant places/events are being cancelled already.

That also goes to what @hex and I talked about earlier tho. Your personal experience isnt = to everyone’s experience. Because I have the exact opposite experience. And that’s based on my real life friends, not online chatter. Even the Alamo I was in on opening night, the cats I sat next to said he was a great Spider-Man but they didn’t fukk with his movies. Again, my personal experience and I wouldn’t think to ascribe that to everyone because that would be crazy.

I don’t argue whether someone’s opinion or personal anecdotes are wrong. Just listen to them and add it to my own perspective.

I said a lot of these people are, because his movies were always seen as the worst ones by mostly everybody, but once again, nobody said they were straight to dvd status
The last Star Wars trilogy was garbage and was widely seen as the worst trilogy, that the same as saying it should of skipped the cinema and gone straight to dvd? I’m just saying they weren’t good, if you liked em cool but it’s not an unpopular opinion

You get what I'm saying? People on the internet can't separate their own personal experiences from objective reality. I don't like the Andrew Garfield movies, or Star Wars in general. A lot of people do, though.
As far as the "direct to DVD" comment, it wasn't literal. I'm saying cats act like those movies aren't successful enough to garner a sizable fan base. Like they just came out, a handful of people seen them, now years later everyone is a fan.

bro, I’m not saying he doesn’t have fans, I like Andrew Garfield, he deserves to have fans, his portrayal is one of the only redeeming qualities of his Spider-Man movies, I’m simply pointing out the hypocrisy of people in geneal, who will jump on the bandwagon of Andrew being the worlds greatest Spider-Man just because of NWH, when we both know it was cool to shyt on him only a couple years back, hence me saying a lot of these people are “full of shyt”

The fan base is small enough then, that you'd have to question the sincerity of it all. But $700 mill? Any movie that does $700+ mill is going to have a fukk ton of fans. Those movies always had a fan base, we just weren't a part of it.
