Not disagreeing with that. The one he didn't have a hand in ends up being the one that causes them to go back to him. Real interesting.

But after those alleged leaks for ASM3 :merchant:
Well “executive producer” doesn’t always mean shyt in Hollywood too. His name was on those movies. Just like avi arad and Matt tolmach have their names on this one. But you and I both know they had nothing to do with this movie creatively. So I’m not sure how those deals are made or what the title means in every sense of the word.

not so sure on this. :hubie:

when it goes well, they get the credit. when it goes bad, "my name was just on there".

Kevin has been involved in damn near every Marvel movie since Spidey 1 in some capacity. I never liked the give credit when it's good and "well that was different, etc." when it's not.

Just saying.

But he hits way more than misses now so :salute:

Well I know from those articles when this deal was announced that avi and Matt are nowhere near it. Don’t know who made that call but that was the call. If I can dig the article up I’ll send it to you

Back in the early days of Feige's career he had no pull, he was just the guy to consult for lore and comic nerd stuff.

He never really had clout, for lack of a better word, until Marvel started making their own movies.

Yup. He was on X-men and the early Spider-Man flicks, which is how he and Amy established a relationship.

Tom Holland Spider Man lowkey unlikable.... dude gets handed everything

Wanted to slap Peter the whole movie
That was the point of his journey and the logic of having the older peters around
To teach him about sacrifices. Likewise, the older spiders never had teams to work with which is what his benefitted from the most. it’s why the ending is so poignant; he’s now officially a Spiderman. Alone in a shytty apartment trying to help his neighborhood.

Yea I hope he gets a small, Stan Lee like, cameo. I googled him and he still looks decent for a 70 year old. I vaguely remember his show.

It was my shyt as a kid who loved Spider-Man. I think the reruns came on channel 5 in NYC in the early 80's. I was glued there on Saturdays. Always waiting for Doc Ock or Electro to show up:russ::francis:

Burnout and being stale are real Spider-Man will be in college soon. A new part of his life is beginning a new vision is never a bad thing. Spider-Man is Marvels baby that's one franchise Marvel and Sony will take serious especially with the collaboration. I have faith they can find a capable director.
Think they’ll end up going with Drew Goddard.

ehhh, Feige was a producer on all Spidey flicks except ASM2.
and had very little control over the story/dialouge, it was prob mostly in name only

Amy came to him to save Spidey and he said he would do it if they let him control the story
