So, if anyone remembered, the first Sonic movie was the last real Blockbuster before the pandemic broke out...

True. 2020 was already heading to hell with World War 3 almost popping off, the Australian fires, and the Calabasas, CA helicopter crash and then of course we know what happened in March and beyond. I always joke that the Sonic movie was one of the last bits of normalcy that we got before everything changed forever.

Playing as Knuckles in Sonic 2 was a godsend. Straight up gave Sonic 2 a whole new replayability that I never thought possible.

Crazy how SEGA innovated in ways that not even Nintendo could. Lock-on for Sonic n Knuckles made Sonic among the GOAT 16 bit franchises.
