Let's not forget Franklin killed a lot of people, many of whom I would consider innocent. Plus he helped an evil cac CIA agent spread crack and ruin countless people's lives.

He's alive, not in prison, and Teddy is dead. He might be a pathetic alcoholic now, but his pops was too and managed to get clean and find purpose for himself.

Don't worry because he'll be doing interviews with Vlad TV in 30 years.

Yep, some say she was proved her loyalty and did this out desperation. Others say she was just waiting for an opportunity.

I think it was a little of both. She probably was going to use Saint initially but fell in love and got in deeper. When Franklin started unraveling and threatened her, it made it much easier to bounce.

Teddy was deadd to them BEFORE Briana Barksdale smoked him.

Yeah he was smart and dumb at the same time. How in the hell you don't have money aside in case shyt went south. shyt a stash house no one knew about with a vaulted safe.

I really wanted him to get that money. His mom fukked everything up. But shyt in reality, many drug dealers were left with nothing if they didn't go to jail or end up dead.

I wouldn't necessarily call Saint dumb. Intelligence comes through lessons from experience. What communities were dealing with, as crack began to push through, was unprecedented and its quick devastating outcome was like none other. I would define franklin as more naive than dumb. Him spending a lot of time this series believing he had a resemblance of protection due to his ties to the cia and then the kgb. His father and even his mother who were ex panthers were trying to school him on who he was dealing with but franklin never accepted their message. In that time , a outcome where you could clean your money and go legit might have been conceivable. Franklin didn't understand concepts like Rico and assets being seized etc. So once he builds this empire he wants to come out on top somehow not understanding that was never going to happen and the second teddy took that money that this situation is over.

So he has teddy tied up and tells teddy that this is the story where loses not understanding that this is a story everyone losses except the United States government.

Naw, teddy was a bit delusional as well. People are forgetting the cia was about to kill teddy. He was failing to lead the illegal war and was then began being exposed. They were ready to put someone else in his place and then take teddy out. Teddy with all that, and knowing the cia was about done with him then steals franklin money hoping to buy himself some time, but the cia cares more about being covert then the money.

But even while teddy is being tortured he still preaching his loyalty to the u.s Government and protecting the so called way we live.
