Them rewatches are gonna hit real different now that we know how the Frank Saint story ends.
I don't get the people saying the show fell off after Singleton passed. The first season was arguably as shaky as S5. Extremely dry and too many storylines. Singleton was there for that dry ass Lucia plot line with her fukked up cartel family. The series really picks up in S3 and 4, dips in S5 then sprints to the finish in S6.Huh? When did this show “fall off”. I’m so confused. I pretty much binged the first 4 seasons and I don’t know where you could have possibly felt the quality dropped.
I get everyone is different but this series has been consistent all the way to the end
That still doesn't make the ending good. It was a terribly written and executed ending. It’s the hard truth. Majority of drug dealers do not get a happy ending. Dead, locked up or broke
This ending really doesn't make sense. They are throwing away all of Franklins character development. We know he wanted his money back but he was also smart and everything else. This shyt is dumb smh.
Franklin had an addictive personality, so when his one addiction was taken from him, he replaced it with another one.People don’t hate the ending because it wasnt a happy ending
They hate the ending because they forcingly made him an alcoholic out of nowhere
If they wanted to make it realistic he shoulda took his first drink way back in Season 4. Maybe while he was on a cane to ease his injuries or to deal with the stress of the manboy and skully situation. Shoulda been gradual
many people feel Franklin was way too methodical and straight edge to fall victim to alcohol. most of the drug dealers who were big time and became drug addicts were never disciplined in the first place most of them were sex addicts who sniffed coke while they was on top which is why alot of them were ultra violent. Franklin was none of that, he was faithful to all his women, never drank or smoked. his main goal was business
so to see him randomly become an alcoholic (even though he became desperate for his money that was stolen from him) is viewed as bad writing
a more fitting ending for him woulda been Henry Hill’s ending in Goodfellas or jail.
me personally i feel they shoulda went the Harry O route and had him get locked up and giving Leon all his financial assets to start a gangsta rap label which would have segway’d into the spinoff and made Leon become Suge Knight and made music industry power be Leon’s addiction like how the drug game power was Franklin’s.
Absolutely hated this ending but i get it. They money was deep in his veins
didn't resolve Deon comin back for yo-yo...i mean lil leon
Frank just one of those nikkas who had it all and pissed it away. he had a fate worse than death. Not even seeing his lil mans. V cleaned out his last 800,000
just dropped Ruben off and that was it
Louie winning the race
Cissy really saved everybody asses by making sure Frank didnt see that money
I really dont think i could care less for the spin-off but Leon being who he is and Frank being alive gives it a lil chance
there's just $72 million sittin in an escrow nobody can touch. I'm sure Vee and Vee's mama finessed that
Parissa just...gone
Episode starts with this nikka sippin a free shot and ends with left eye just being bloodshot from all the drinkin he did....truly hate to see it. I aint ever think i wanted a fictional character to live and just get fukkin wrecked at every turn. From Teddy dying to that safe being empty...
Tulfowitz made out like a bandit buying all that property for the low low
Thought the last death would be Big Deon or somethin but it was just a mf hired to crack a safe. Know that mf shyt his hanes when he heard them gunshots ring out

i wonder if this ending is true to what John wanted
