Just finished watching it. It breaks your heart not because it happened that way…but because it HAD to happen that way. Was no other way to end the story and that’s how the story ended for most of the Franklin Saint’s in the neighborhood coming out of the crack era. Yeah they got a little outlandish on the way here but this is how it really ended. Back in the hood worse off than when you started with a trail of destruction behind you

Dope they left it to imagination but it seemed the DEA was trying to bait Oso with that voicemail from his girl. Lowkey seemed like he knew it too. She was a little too eager to see him after all that time passed.
We could’ve got a lil more about that especially for a series finale that was getting extended run time

I’ve addressed this before…they were eating off him yea, but his crew would’ve been fine without the drugs, they didn’t have an innate lust for money like Franklin, they could’ve lived life as average people in south central, Frank couldn’t have

Yes, franklins money was stolen, but he destroyed himself - no one else. There were multiple times just this episode alone where he could’ve taken what he had and been ok. But he’s like a crackhead chasing that first high, except his first high was $73M - he was never gonna get there again…breh couldn’t let go of chasing that mountain when he had opportunities to have a few M’s back. If you remember, when he was going in on that downtown building, Louie and Rome was supposed to put in $10M for their stake which he and V covered when they backed out. So at minimum, between what he originally invested and covering Louie/Rome’s stake, Frank had probably $10M he coulda got back from selling, plus rentals in the hood

Good synopsis, it showed his descent into addiction via alcohol and his other addiction kicking into high gear lust for money

I guess the last scene was maybe him making peace with that, I’m guessing the writers are showing the cliche the higher the rise the higher the fall, but also his tunnel vision had him missing out on hella bread, because he thought he still had to have it all rather than pivot

That Kendrick song gave a nikka chills it was so apropos
Louie crying in a horse stable making minimum wage is not the last laugh.. Maybe I'm tripping

Minimum wage ??? Shiiid she making a few shillings, I’m trippin on how they tracked her to there though shyt
Even after they fukked him over, he was good. He had $800k in the bank. Buildings he could’ve sold and made something and been comfortable as hell with a family.

He let pride fukk him over.
Yep, but the man was obsessed, the way i relate it is, the money i made early in my career was so heaven sent, but if was to wake up making that much I’d lose my fukkin mind, i guess the same for ol franklin, going from money ain’t a thang to scrambling to get your m’s up is a nightmare

I get what yall are saying about V (survival mode), but the bytch aint have to clean him out like that :picard:

She couldve taken 500 and left him with the rest at least so he can make that payment (wouldnt have mattered in the long run bc Franklin was too greedy)

I was thinking about this too. Like he just said the same thing to Teddy last episode. And she more than anybody knew what his financial situation was so when I heard the banker say she withdrew all the available funds I felt mad/sad for Franklin even though he went to far choking her up the day before. I don’t think it was her plan from the jump but after that she was done

If she ghosted him, how come we know Franklin has a son, that she took the money to put him in the finest schools and that she promised that she would break the generational curse?

That's why I don't get the hate! The nikka killed two people in cold blood, PLUS a cop, and he's living free and clear! Even had a paid-off house that he LOST b/c he didn't keep up the damn property tax!!! shyt, LOUIE is in deeper trouble than that murderous motherfukker!
nikka she called him and told him that but ain't give him no info so he could be in his sons life. We knew she was pregnant before she dipped with the money lmao. You defending this hoe shyt, you got to be a woman.
the irony tho is that she inquired, but she sent davis to franklin. if she wanted to clean him out at that point i'm sure she could've figured out a way to do it. she was prioritizing their survival.

franklin responded by selling all the south central properties without giving her ANY kind heads up. he actually did the very thing he accused her of, but was attacking her loyalty in the process. he was too fukked up to see it though.

ranting about her talking to his competition (another black man), but had no problem selling to a white slumlord so he could fund a dream that was already dead. :snoop::to:

veronique proved she was willing to ride or die for franklin, even when the cracks started showing. i dont fault her for the property shyt.

now bouncing with his money.... :francis:
Exactly either way you slice it she was wrong, should not have dipped with all his money. That's selfish.
She was working with a clear mind when Franklin wasn’t. A sit down with him over this wouldn't have went any better :stopitslime:
so what, it's his money and that's her partner. You either speak with him and let him know the plan or dip if you ain't fukking with him but to do that slick shyt was disloyal and to take his money and dip was a double whammy. Don't defend that bullshyt.

Imagine a man taking all your money and dipping off with your kid. Regardless of the situation that was wrong. She ain't leave him a good chunk of it or nothing, cleaned him out. If she spoke with him maybe she could have convinced him, maybe not and at that point she should respect his decision.

.
Nothing slips past you, Sherlock Homeboy. You're Juelzing for the ULTIMATE hoe in this story, Franklin Saint, but you try to use my gender as an insult? Take that blackcel shyt somewhere else - grown folks are talking here. Enjoy this ig.
