After watching the second time I have a better understanding of what they were trying to do with "Other Lives" angle. I still wish we would gotten more about the immediate response to Franklin getting shot, what happened to his crew and his money while he was in a coma and of course more about Mel. But at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if they get into those things in season 4... Now I just hate having to wait so long, and wonder how things will be without any John Singleton involvement at all

They weren’t wearing blue or red just a second ago. What brought the change?
I think the writers alluded to them be gang related
Inglewood(Skully)is known for being majority blood territory
John didn’t wanna go thru the whole BNTH incident again

decent finale...I felt the alternate reality opening dream sequence was entirely too long but that’s the only real complaint I have...I’m also curious as to how long he was out for bcuz even tho I’m glad they incorporated crips/blood into the storyline it seemed like that shyt just sprang out of nowhere...I felt they could’ve worked that into the storyline better but again I’m really interested in finding out how long he was out for...excited for next season...curious to see if any of the comments address my concern

I imagine the kid filming in the projects was a nod to john singleton :myman:

It was around August since that was around the time Mel was about to take the road trip to ATL for school. When he wakes up and goes home there’s a Christmas tree so he was out for about 3 months.

wow talk about paying attention to detail...good shyt...makes great sense...thanks...that’s definitely a respectable timeline for manboy and company to wild out w/ franklin out of the picture
