With Frank sidelined the first thought I had was this is where Manboy makes his move. I think this will be Leon's moment to shine. We'll see if he can rally the troops, be an effective leader, eliminate the threat, all while keeping business going and keeping the heat off the crew.

Yeah I noticed that, I thought that shot was cold when it kept zooming into the cop as they talked around him. Those moments of blackout came when the focused character was having dark thoughts or plotting something.

In some of Franklin’s missteps you see where he needed his father or an OG around for him. Like someone else said, Mel hittin him with the low low should’ve been the final straw. Plus if he really did care for her then he should’ve known right away that she needed to get sent to rehab. Him helping in that might’ve spared Andre’s life plus he might’ve gained an ally in him. He should’ve realized the love was gone. Even if he didn’t suspect that she knew.

Real shyt tho, Mel and Franklin is a vicious love tragedy. One of the best I’ve ever seen honestly. I felt both sides, Mel’s feeling of betrayal and Franklin’s feeling of guilt that his love has been destroyed by the poison that made him rich. Real twisted and fukked up.

With his resources, Franklin should’ve EASILY had her in a bougie rehab facility and paid them extra to keep her ass there. Her being on the street was a liability to him, made him look week in front of the other dealers in the organization and added more fuel to the Andre fire.

I already called him out and asked him to explain how he stole the "whole story". Outside of the CIA connection I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a good answer for that. Plus quite frankly I could give a damn about Freeway's story being stolen when you weigh what he did with crack,knowingly or unknowingly. This isn't the story of Freeway or his family,and @CountryBalla can't show that and neither would Ross be able to in court. We needed the CIA connection because there finally needed to be a show that pointed out how the CIA was a major factor in pushing drugs into the black community. Instead of just making it as though black males whipped it up out of thin air and caused all the destruction.

SO the part of Snowfall people care about the least,complained about the whole first season,and literally could do without is THE STORY?
Yet some of you are upset he didn't consult Rick Ross about something that he had no detail of until it all blew up?
So basically we could say John Singleton stole the CIA's story.Not much to consult Rick on since he knew nothing before the rest of us irrc. The Snowfall story is about Franklin and his family,and about a young man who knows the CIA's involvement and is trying to navigate that. Franklins life,and the life of his family is friends is not the story of Rick Ross and his family and friends. Rick Ross did not find out he was working for the CIA early on like Franklin. John Singleton and company done created a whole GREAT story,with a great story line,and hear you are acting like the CIA shyt is the crux of Snowfall
