I absolutely hate, niccas ain't up on this show. We, what one Ep from the finale. After last week, this shyt hit the ground running.
Damson deserves an Emmy, and this show deserves more pub.
Meanwhile, every chick at the job asking if I saw the latest episode of Power. I can't...

I think it’s coming. They just gotta feature this show on the new Hulu app when it comes out. This is exactly what happened to Breaking Bad. Nobody was watching the first two seasons and after the third it started getting some pub. But what really helped it was Netflix streaming becoming more popular. Every summer a new crop of fans of the show emerged from a binge until it became the phenomenon it was after season 5. As long as Snowfall has a plan for how this can end, they can make it to season 7 easily.

Manboy quickly becoming one of my favorite characters on the show.
Leon cool but he's a fukkin dummy fr. Type of dude that'll make the whole block hot. Franklin told his crew they had to tone it down and stay lowkey earlier in the season but that's the exact opposite of what these nikkas been doing lately lol. Leon shooting guns in the street and having turf wars. Franklin merkin cops. This whole empire boutta crumble, and its all cus the nikkas in the inner circle moving like dummies.

I love the way the writers parallel each characters plunge into the dark abyss (Reed & Franklin). Both are willing to blow past all signals to save their asses at any cost which will eventually be their undoing.

The way the storyline develops where they highlight that each character does business with people who will and have killed their own (Reed, Oso, The Dirty Cop, Lucia, Louie, Avi) for the almighty dollar is amazing!

nah, let them stay over there, these will be the same ones talking bout the show is slow when they watch the 1st season. Trust me, it'll only make you frustrated trying to explain why the Lucia/Gustavo and Teddy shyt is necessary when all they wanna see is Franklin's story.

What’s crazy is that although Season 5 was panned by the critics as being rushed, I still thought the way they closed out the series was remarkable.

Yes, I agree that most shows that I consider classics have never won awards ( The Wire, SouthLand, The Shield, Atlanta and now Snowfall) however, the writing and cinematography for this series is some of the best that I have seen for a television show in ages, perhaps since SouthLand.

I haven’t even begun to consider the fact that the acting by the cast is deserving of recognition by the academy.
