1 final episode of the Season Next week...
Yall notice how throughout the whole episode franklin’s shirts were sweaty whereas nobody else’s was?
It was the aftermath of him catching a body
Franklin and Leon reminds me of
That was the entire season 1 thread here, brehnah, let them stay over there, these will be the same ones talking bout the show is slow when they watch the 1st season. Trust me, it'll only make you frustrated trying to explain why the Lucia/Gustavo and Teddy shyt is necessary when all they wanna see is Franklin's story.
"I built this brick by brick,me! I'll be damned if I let you tear it down because you don't like how another nikka talk!"
My god...the acting...Damson / Franklin killed that scene
This is the best thing on TV and is on its way to being one of the GOATs
If this shyt was on HBO

With Frank sidelined the first thought I had was this is where Manboy makes his move. I think this will be Leon's moment to shine. We'll see if he can rally the troops, be an effective leader, eliminate the threat, all while keeping business going and keeping the heat off the crew. If he can, I can see that leading to him demanding the level of respect from Frank that he's yet to have gotten.
Part of me thinks it's only right for Frank to be the one to murk Mel, just as the final step past the point of no return. But I think her just smoking herself to death might be a bit more poetic/depressing. She has no one and no allies in her corner. Her best friend's mom kicked her out, the white cop sold his soul(if he ever had one) and her aunt doesn't seem too pressed to listen to conspiracy theories about Andre being murdered. She shot Franklin and literally threw the gun in the bushes with an extremely detached and resigned look on her face. She's done
Im calling it now, dude gonna win a Oscar one day
Mel’s whole story arc is tragic as fukk. I feel so many different things just seeing her scenes now. I feel bad for her but I know she’s trouble for Franklin that needs to be dealt with. But you might be right, she’s the perfect supplement to Franklin’s final descent into darkness. I’m just not sure how he’ll be able to kill her unless his men pick her up and he can finish her off.
Otherwise, I have absolutely no idea how Mel is gonna go out. Before Mel smoked rocks and Andre got killed, a part of me kinda hoped she’d end up sayin fukk school and get in the game with Franklin on some Bonnie and Clyde shyt and Andre would go rogue and him and the white cop work for Frank.
Would’ve worked out too perfectly tho, this dark turn they all took has been some riveting shyt to watch. That’s the way to really challenge the viewer when you write shyt like this.
from whom?
I 100% expected the Bonnie and Clyde thing when I saw how she was starting to rebel against her father. THey pulled a complete 180 on us all I think, didn't expect crack addict at all. At least not so soon I didn't,and certainly didn't expect her to shoot Franklin. At this point whether he wants to kill her or not,as far as the streets go I don't know if Franklin can let it slide. People already saw her chump him with the knee to the balls, now if he lets her slide with shooting him and trying to kill him?
Plus irrc correctly there was already a moment in a previous season where the runners questioned him as "Saint" and wondered if he was really a tough guy or not. I'm sure street nikkas know his background ain't that decorated. They might know he is the brains of the operation, but now this might be a Stringer Bell situation. Where they realize he is the brains, but weak if they can disconnect him from his muscle. This puts a target on Leon while Franklin is out of the picture. Leon is liable to move stupid without Franklin giving him guidance and strategy, perfect time to get rid of Franklins muscle.
That whole scene was sick, from that shyt to the car scene was fukkin great. On a street level, Franklin absolutely did the right thing to defend Leon in public and reprimand him in private. Leon needed to hear that shyt.
I’ve loved the cinematography on this show. That combined with Franklin’s superb acting and the layered story makes for some refreshing TV.
Lowkey I been wondering if Mel spared Franklin. She learned how to shoot so she could hit them kill shots. Maybe she just wanted to leave it up to chance and she doesn’t care whether she lives or dies at this point. Might make a break for Mexico, who the hell knows. Franklin has to kill her tho, that’s the bottom line.
The Stringer Bell shyt might have some truth to it but I think that plus gettin shot by Mel is what propels him to that more ruthless place.
Yeah, I been watching since the first episode, and I'm diggin' the show. Well done IMO. Some oddball quirks here and there where sh*t don't add up, but it's TV...
Aunt Louie though:
They got her dressing better and , she is cute asf...
