I’m an idiot but how did Shang-chi not drown when he was thrown into that lake?
I’m rewatching today and damn, the mom (rip ) and sister are bad bad.
Lol my six year loved this joint too and kept asking where the superhero’s but she really fukked with thisI recently watched all of the MCU movies with my daughter (she's 4)... she really rocked with this one. When it first started, she recognizes the Marvel intro and was like
Then it started out, and she didn't see the usual suspects so she's like, "Where's the superheros at Dad?"
Then as the movie went on, I kept looking at her face and she was locked tf in. That skyscraper scene she was shook thinking the sidechick girl was going to fall off that scaffolding only for Shang's sister to catch her. After the movie she was reenacting the moves and all that.
One thing I do notice after watching these joints, is how they always seem to have some sort of aerial climax in the film (with the others it's space ships or planes/Iron Man) and in this one it was the dragons.
They stick to the formula to the T
I had the opposite feeling in regards to Ta Lo and the 10 rings org. Ta Lo felt like a hut city, not enough details or explored enough for me and when broad said he was bringing an army with the 10 rings but brought only about 40 to 50 people I was disappointed. Thought ab organization like the 10 rings that's been around for centuries would have thousands of operatives.Mixed bag for me.
-loved most of the fighting scenes... the club was dope and the fight along the side of the building was tense
-Ta lo was beautiful and immersive..
-Ten Rings Organization finally got it's due after the iron man 3 deal
However... my worst fears came true.. Too much of the girl who shares her name with water. She just wasn't funny at all and damn near ruined all the scenes she's in..
Overall not a huge success for Marvel but good enough to garner some more time spent with the characters
I watched it. It was good. I'd put Black Widow a bit above it. But not by much. I like how Wong is getting his shine. But now Kang and whoever made the Rings are both the big bads?
And how the hell did Banner break his arm? How is that even possible?

Yeah I had the same impression too. I wonder if the hand and iron fist don't exist in the MCU and if they do. How have they not crossed path with the 10 rings.Ta Lo and the 10 Rings felt like the Iron Fist storyline. Shangri-La and The Hand, I think they were named. I was wondering if the 2 are connected.
Even the Mandarin's wife when they meet is wearing Iron Fist colored costume. I thought they were going to retcon Iron Fist into this. Would have been cool actually.Ta Lo and the 10 Rings felt like the Iron Fist storyline. Shangri-La and The Hand, I think they were named. I was wondering if the 2 are connected.
Still fukked up from using the Gauntlet after the second snap in End Game. He basically has a chicken wing now. Remember his arm was in a sling at the funeral.
The fact we aren't getting a solo Hulk movie is crazy. Dude basically saved the universe. His arc has been crazy, and the craziest thing about it is that most of it happens off-screen (him arriving on Sakur (or whatever the heck that planet is) and getting picked to be Jeff Goldblum's champion, him becoming Professor Hulk, him going from Professor Hulk to whatever he is now).
I hate Mark Ruffalo as much as the next man (I think Ed Norton was a much better fit for Bruce Banner, plus his Hulk looked better) but Hulk needs his own property right now, and not guest features in everybody else's property.
