She’s got a good eye with cinematography (Lena). The shots from the trailer look like it’ll be very nice composed. Films like these make me wish black talent would focus more on futurism themes for blacks. Like, I can dig the premise of the film but I’ll be damned if I’m not tired of seeing some black people get into it with the police. Even if it is more of a Bonnie and Clyde styled movie in favour of, it’s just an actual occurrence that bothers me too much to be fictionalised...

Gotta see it in film, gotta see it in the news. If I was a director, I’d prefer people to have visions and dreams of the future. But that’s me and my artistic vision so...
