Been playing BG3 again, you can definitely feel the framerate improvements

Local Best Buy had one of these for $630 open box. Had $50 from a rewards from a previous purchase and an additional $30 worth of rewards points. For $550 said fukk it and now own a Pro. Will probably look to move the original PS5 for close to $300 locally since I no longer sub to PlayStation+ so I can't really use the original with my saves being stuck on the Pro.
Already had a disc drive I was going to resell but will now keep. After all discounts and credit card cash back will cost about $217 for the system itself out of pocket.

I was always going to get one for archival purposes. I still own a slim PS2, super slim PS3, and a PS4 Pro. I won't trade or sell this PS5 Pro in even when the PS6 comes out. I keep the close to final best version of the PlayStation consoles and have for decades. The exceptions are the Vita which I have an OLED not the LED version, the PSPGo (somebody stole this), and original PlayStation (didn't have enough sense as a youth to keep this hardware). Same with Nintendo Hardware for the most part. Still own an original Wii, Wii U, 3DS XL, 2DS XL, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Gameboy. Missing the GameCube (original Wii does that), DS, and NES.
