I thought JP would be Tommy & Diamond's Chris Bosh. In season 1, JP had some edge (he wasn't a street cat, but he was no sucker) and he was a master scientist. Breh even helped perfect the Dahlia production process.
Now he just plays roommates with Kate.
I didn't expect to see him busting guns on the street, but he could've been an important part of the CBI organization. Hell, they could've even used JP's bar to clean CBI's money.

Honestly I kind of like what they did

they didn't rush anything, Miguel still alive, vic still alive, his sister is prob still alive, dmac story still out there, jennard and his chick still out there, seems to get rid of his fakkit bro and kate finally stories that no one card up, ended that tommy merela romance and ended it with tommy angry as hell, next season will be . They can go in so many directions they can just say claudia died, have the cops show up and vic is dead etc. Or they can keep them both alive have claudia make bail or something and vic and claudia rebuild the flynn name while being the puppet of tommy.

Honestly I hate to say it dodges tomatoes but this is the best power show out there and I'm even liking it more than the OG power
